We are very happy to invite many of you to the closed beta testing phase of WildStar’s Free-to-Play transition. To participate in the closed beta you must have an existing WildStar account and have signed up for a closed beta key. If you’re interested in testing but you haven’t signed up, there’s still time – click this link to reach the closed beta signup page – all of the upcoming Features can be read here. This new content is not final and may – in fact, probably will – change due to testing. That’s why we need your help. Your thoughts, your livestreams, and your feedback on the CBT forums will help guide us in making the right changes for the right reasons.

For additional information about the WildStar Free-to-Play closed beta and how you can help us with your feedback, please read through this Knowledge Base article with more information on:

Where to download the CBT Client
How to copy your characters if you’re a subscriber
System requirements for an optimal testing environment
Additional tips and guidance
Just a reminder that since this is a test environment – uneven game performance may be experienced, and last-minute downtimes or restarts can happen without warning. However, should extended downtimes be a possibility, we will strive to let you know in a timely manner.

Don’t forget to read our closed beta FAQ to help answer many of your questions. If you don’t see your answer there, please consider posting your question in our Forums and we’ll update the FAQ as needed.

In the meantime, check our trailer embedded below, and to see what else is coming to you in WildStar check out the WildStar Free-to-Play Closed Beta Livestream on August 11th at 10AM PDT, the Stat Revamp Deep Dive, and stay tuned on all of our social channels for future updates.

Happy testing and we’ll see you on Nexus!
