With an announcement for Open Beta due, a new developer trailer about some minor changes between Closed Beta and Open Beta was released by Actoz Games, the publisher for Final Fantasy XIV in South Korea. They include the option to skip the starting cut scene, localizing the chat window layout, and removing certain quests. All core content will remain the same.
With security a concern, Actoz Games is currently holding an event to get players to authenticate their accounts. For those who authenticate through mobile SMS, they will get two parts of the Moogle Attire, the head and gloves. For those who authenticate through email address, they will get the body, buns and legs. This set is obtainable only through special events, even for overseas severs.
